Salad Art: Sugared Violets

How to add a dainty beauty to your salads.

Sugared Violets
















Ingredients

  • Sweet violets
  • Egg white
  • Castor sugar


Make these when the flowers are in full bloom.  You can then store them in an air tight container in the refrigerator.

Brush the petals with egg whites, sprinkle with castor sugar, then stand until set.
